Common questions

My map is empty or missing places

Photoplot maps photos that have a location. Check that Photoplot can see your photos in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Photoplot, and choose Full Access. Photos taken while Location Services was off for the Camera have no location to map.

My map looks out of date

Photoplot keeps up with new and deleted photos by itself. To start fresh, open Settings in Photoplot and tap Rescan Photo Library. The photos you chose for places stay.

How do I change the photo for a place?

Open the place and tap its small photo, or long-press it in a list. You can choose another photo, shuffle, or go back to the default.

Does Photoplot upload my photos?

No. Your photos never leave your phone, and Photoplot collects nothing. See the privacy policy.

Restoring the coffee

Open Settings in Photoplot and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
