Privacy Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

Photoplot is made by Venture Ink Labs. It does not collect, store or share any of your data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no ads.

Your photos

Photoplot reads the locations in your photo library to build your map. This happens on your device. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Apple services

Place names, the globe and search come from Apple Maps, just like in the Maps app. To show a place name, the location of a photo is sent to Apple. Apple's privacy policy covers this.

iCloud

If you use iCloud, a few small choices sync through your own iCloud account so they follow you to your other devices: which photo you picked for each place, the places you've lived, your name and your colors. Your photos themselves do not sync through Photoplot. We can't see any of it.

Purchases

The optional coffee purchase is handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Children

Photoplot collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
